I made an executive decision today and decided Justin can ditch the highchair and join us at the table. I've been toying with the idea for a week or two now, but everytime I mention it to Jonathan he talks me out of it. You would never guess it by his lack of help in cleaning our house (love you, honey!), but Jonathan is really the neat freak of the two of us. He thought Justin sitting at a booster would cause a huge mess at the table each night, and he's probably right but guess what? He's out of town and so I went with it, and Justin loves being a part of our dinnertable so he's staying! :) I honestly didn't pull the booster seat out of storage for this reason. Today Katelynn was playing playdoh and Justin was dying to get in on the action. He kept walking over to the table and pulling on her playdoh mat. So I ran and got the booster, gave him some empty playdoh containers and he joined us in playing playdoh. Once it was there and it was dinnertime, I thought why the heck not! So, we will now be eating at the table as a family of four!!
P.S. This does NOT mean that my BABY boy is getting big. No, no, no. I refuse to admit that part of it. I am going to just continue living in denial that he is going to ever turn a year old.
