I took quite a few random pictures today, and I just couldn't decide what to post. I also got a video today of Justin taking a few steps, but I didn't get that uploaded tonight so I'll post that sometime this week. Today we just hung out around the house and did a little cleaning. Jonathan is back on the road tomorrow so I was trying to take advantage of him being home to help me while I could.
With our day at home came naps. Katelynn wasn't really wanting to take one today and so I guess this was how she was protesting it. I went in to make sure she was sleeping, paniced for half a second (sound similar? She pulled this same trick on me when she was 15 months old) when her bed was empty, and then found her on the floor on the side of her bed. At least she was fast asleep! (And for the record, she was wearing black pants with her outfit today, but she insisted she had to wear her "nap" pants when I told her it was time to nap. I am pretty sure it was just a staling excuse, but if that's what it took to get a nap in so be it!)
I am sure this will sound familar to many of you. I was trying to clean Justin's room, and this was his way of helping- opening each drawer and pulling out all the folded clothes onto the floor. He was smiling and laughing the whole time of course!
