Most families get dressed up on Easter, have big dinners, attend a church gathering or two. Our family? Well, we loaded up the kids and headed to the lake for a great day of boating! It was our first boating of the season (which is actually kind of late for us). Both sets of grandparents came along for some fun on the water!
Justin was so little last year on the boat. I wasn't sure how he would like it this year. He LOVED it. If we wouldn't have been holding him back, he probably would have jumped right off the boat and into the water!
Wearing Grandpa Carney's hat and hanging out with both Grandpa's at the front of the boat.
I did not put my kids in their swimsuits for our trip on the boat. It was super warm, but I thought the water would be way too cold just yet. Silly mommy didn't even bring a change of clothes either and of course we found a super cool area to dock the boat and play. The kids got wet and sandy and dirty... in their Easter outfits. Oh well. It was fun and that was what mattered!
Our little boy is fearless of the water. He was running out into it with no fear. He was literally soaked from head to toe, falling into the water, splashing onto his face, and he didn't care one bit. He just kept going out for more!
Grandma didn't dress for the occassion either and ended up with pretty wet blue jeans as a result. :)
This was the perfect way to spend our Easter. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Love the boating pictures! We hope to put ours in soon and seeing all your pictures hope it is sooner than later!
