After playing outside today, the kids needed baths! This was their first time taking a bath together.. and since they are opposite sexes, I won't get away with it for too long, but for now I think this is our new routine for baths! It was so great having Katelynn hold Justin while I washed him up. I thought it would be harder, but it was much easier and he LOVED it. He hasn't been too excited about baths lately, but he thought his big sister was so much fun that he didn't mind it at all!Thursday, March 19, 2009
Bathtime for Two
After playing outside today, the kids needed baths! This was their first time taking a bath together.. and since they are opposite sexes, I won't get away with it for too long, but for now I think this is our new routine for baths! It was so great having Katelynn hold Justin while I washed him up. I thought it would be harder, but it was much easier and he LOVED it. He hasn't been too excited about baths lately, but he thought his big sister was so much fun that he didn't mind it at all!

Holy cow...I don't think I would do that...Harper's a slick little sucker and I could see her going under quick!
But seriously...that is CUTE!
I really thought it would be difficult, but Katelynn does so well holding him. I do think when he starts moving around more, it will be more tricky so I'm looking for a bath seat so he can still be in there with her, but I was surprised at how much easier it was with both of them in there!! I probably shouldn't take pictures as much as I do because that is a bit risky, but we have done it a few times now, and it makes bathtime so much easier!
